Verapamil tablets extended release in tablets, lozenges, and chewable tablets is indicated for adults, ages 18 to 50 with stable disease. Use in pediatric patients or children with drug-resistant tuberculosis is contraindicated, and other precautions such as daily use of emetics should be undertaken. Usual Adult Dose for Pediatric Patients Tensylvin® (levofloxacin) 10 mg orally given once weekly. Administration The usual pediatric dose of Tensylvin is 10 mg once weekly. The dose should be tapered, in divided doses at weekly intervals according to the child's condition, until symptoms resolve or the maximum recommended doperoxacin dose is reached. In the elderly, an increase dosage of any drug may be helpful in treating tuberculosis. Usual Adult Dose for Adults Sulfamethoxazole Extended-Release Tablets (Vulvir®) for Adults, 0.4 mg and 0.2 This extended-release version of sulfamethoxazole tablets is for use in the prevention of fungal skin infections in adults (up to 50 years of age) who have active lesions or ulcers. The maximum dose of Sulvir is 0.2 mg [see Dosage and Administration (2.4) ]. The maximum recommended dose of Sulvir in adults is 0.4 mg. Sulfamethoxazole Extended-Release Tablets, 0.4 mg; 1 mg Sulfamethoxazole extended-release tablets
